Recent kitchen design.
A classic La Cornue range cooker paired with a modern stainless extension.
The combination of chrome and stainless steel creates a great subtle contrast.

The ground floor already had beautiful original detailing and needed relatively little intervention: a more considered lighting plan, a new kitchen, a refined colour palette and furniture that would elevate the entire space. The clients played an important part in this process, bringing their excellent taste and shared love of vintage pieces.

The lower level was a different story. Added and renovated at a later stage, it leaned too heavily into a modern architectur aesthetic and felt disconnected from the rest of the house. Our challenge was to bring the two floors together and create one coherent home, while respecting its different architectural layers.

We’ll be sharing much more of this transformation soon.

A 600m² old country house in the east of the Nethe

A 600m² old country house in the east of the Netherlands, thoughtfully extended and transformed into a home that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Years of work went into shaping the interiors, from the layouts and material choices to the lighting, bespoke furniture and decoration.

Working with a client with such a strong sense of style made the process all the more special. A true collaboration where every decision, from the boldest gestures to the smallest details, came together as one coherent whole.

Back after a few weeks off.

My team kept things moving while I took some proper time away with my family. Some holidays, work has a way of following you. This time, it barely did, and that felt good.

The first half of the year was busy, hectic and not always smooth. Creating beautiful interiors but also solving things and keeping momentum. And that isn’t fun every single day. That’s just part of it.

A real break gives you some distance. And perspective. My biggest takeaway? I was genuinely looking forward to seeing my team again, being back in our beautiful office, and getting to create interiors.

We’re in the final stages of a few projects that have been with us for a long time, and I can feel the energy coming back for what’s next too.

Ready for new projects, new ideas and the second half of the year.
